About Us

Madison Meadows provides a program of study from 5th through 8th grade. Opened in 1957, Meadows has a tradition of academic excellence spanning nearly six decades. This tradition, coupled with strong parental involvement and student community service, provide an excellent framework for the school’s International Baccalaureate® Programme of study. Meadows was approved as an International Baccalaureate® (IB) World School in 2015 and also named as a National Blue Ribbon School for 2015 by the U.S. Department of Education.
The International Baccalaureate® Middle Years Programme (MYP) is designed to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young individuals who are prepared to work, live, and make positive contributions in a complex and evolving global society. Grounded in the principles of intercultural understanding and respect, the IB framework emphasizes hands-on, inquiry-based learning, fostering students’ natural curiosity and encouraging them to build on their existing knowledge. Madison Meadows challenges students to think critically, creatively, and reflectively, making connections between their learning and the world around them, and prepares them to continue in an IB High School or Diploma program.
